DESCRIPTION

This is a basic long smart car chassis kit with 4-wheel drive that has plenty of room to mount motor controllers, MCUs, sensors and other accessories.

PACKAGE INCLUDES:

• 2 identical clear acrylic chassis platforms
• 4 DC motors
• 4 Wheels
• Hardware to mount the motors,  assemble the chassis and extras for mounting accessories
• Wires for connecting DC power to the motors.
• 6V (4 x AA) battery holder (batteries not included)

The two acrylic platforms are identical

The platforms have many mounting holes to facilitate mounting electronics, battery packs and similar.  Being acrylic, it is easy to drill additional holes as required using a standard drill bit to fit whatever you might want to fit.

The motors are DC motors that will work between 3-12VDC.  Speed of rotation will depend on the voltage and whether a PWM motor controller is added for speed and direction control.  The motor wires will need to be soldered to the motors, so a soldering iron is required.
