40 Pin Female Header SIL Pins ( 2.54mm)

These are 1×40 single row female headers for mating with standard male header pins.

The pins are designed to be soldered to a PCB.  The female side mates with standard length male headers that are approximately 6mm long.

When soldering these connectors onto a board, it is sometimes easiest if you insert the connectors into male headers stuck into a solderless breadboard or similar in order to hold the connectors aligned during the soldering process.
